May 2021, working in the studio throughout the pandemic, my Studio Still Life series began with photographs of objects that I had collected in the studio. The images reflect my fascination with objects: their textures and shapes, their sameness and their differences. And my desire to collect them and incorporate them in my work. The series grew to include the juxtaposition of my studio materials with the human body, and the project became an Object/Body series. We live in

I began to experiment creating "photographic still lifes", with arrangements of things that I have collected over the years: a diverse array of natural objects such as stones, shells, feathers, bones, antlers, eggs . . . an untold number of found objects. The following are some examples of my beginning experimentations.
