Bioengineering and Heart Regeneration!

I am excited and honored to have the opportunity in May to visit the Boston College research laboratory of the Bioengineer Dr Glenn Gaudette. He has been a pioneer in using plant scaffolds to infuse cardiovascular cells with oxygen, with the intention of eventually regenerating damaged heart muscle : https://youtu.be/zX3zBpjOGl0?feature=shared . I had previously visited his medical research lab at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and he allowed me to take photographs with their giant research microscope of cardiovascular cells on microscopic slides.
